The full Governing Body meets at least once a term and works closely with the Headteacher in making decisions on how the school is run. Much of the Governors’ work is carried out through a number of sub-committees which meet regularly through the year and discuss specific issues such as Finance, the Curriculum, Personnel and Premises. School Governors have a range of legal duties, powers and responsibilities which they carry out together as a body, they cannot act individually.
If you have an issue for the Governing Body, the Chair of Governors can be contacted, in writing, through the school office. The Headteacher is always happy to see parents and Parent Governors are often around the school at start and close of the day.
