Eco School
The Eco Club
This is our new Eco Group. The children were chosen by their friends in each class and all of us have an interest in Green Issues.
If you have any idea of how we could improve our environment, speak to any of the children in the Eco Group.
Gardening Club
An after school gardening group will begin after Easter, led by Mrs Holmes , Year 2 Teacher, Mrs Adams and Mr Brougham, Governors.
Recycling
Each class has a paper recycling bin and the children and staff recycle as much paper as possible.
Year 2 had a visit from representatives from the charity Shelter who told us all about how they help families in need.
We are going to try to bring in a bar of chocolate each to put in the hampers that the Children's Centre are making up to give out to local families in need.

The Park Ranger came to our Wild Garden to help us learn about habitats.
Year 2 investigated the best habitat for woodlice. We found that they preferred a damp rather than a dry habitat.
We had lots of fun learning about the different habitats for our assembly.
