Pupils from years 3 to 6 were given the opportunity to work on an exciting writing project in conjunction with The Everyman Theatre. The pupils created two imaginative stories and worked with an artist to create settings for their stories, which were placed in the giant's story book and displayed in the theatre, along with the pupils work. At the end of the project, the pupils went to the Everyman to see their work displayed and also to watch the production of 'The Story Giant' which they all thoroughly enjoyed. Well done to everyone involved.
Year 5 loved learning about the BFG and taking part in the Bringing Books to Life workshop with the West End company.
Year 5 enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day and sharing their favourite books with the class.
As part of our current Geography topic, Year 5 were visited by Zoolab who showed them different animals they might find living in the different layers of the rainforest.
Students from Liverpool University came to visit year 5, we had an afternoon of science based activity.
