Learning Mentor

FTE:                      Either 0.5 or 0.8 (20 hours per week, term time - 32 hours per week, term time)

Contract:               Fixed Term (to end 31.08.2019)

Grade:                   PASS 5 Point 20 - 23 (with a possible 2 additional points)

Salary:                   £19819 - £21693 pro rata

 

We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to work within our school. You will be working closely with staff to provide a complementary service to support and address the needs of our pupils who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. You will be expected to develop a good relationship with our pupils / families and attend training as required. The successful candidate will work seamlessly with the Headteacher, senior leaders, staff and Governors to ensure inclusive and outstanding learning for our pupils.

 

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to the post. They will have knowledge and skills to be able to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment. They will also be proactive, flexible, reliable and a good timekeeper. It is also important to have a sense of humour and to show empathy towards the children. The post holder must hold relevant qualifications.

Supervisory Assistant

FTE:                      0.2 (8 hours per week, term time)

Grade:                   PASS 1 Point 6 - 8 (with a possible 2 additional points)

Actual Salary:        £3279 - £3325

 

We are currently looking for a Supervisory Assistant to work within our school. You will be working closely with staff to provide a support and supervision to children during the lunch break ensuring safety and wellbeing for all and you will be expected to develop a good relationship with our pupils. 

 

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to the post. They will also be proactive, flexible, reliable and a good timekeeper. It is also important to have a sense of humour and to show empathy towards the children. The post holder must hold relevant qualifications.
